LINCOLNSHIRE SCHOOLS FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION
Who represents Lincolnshire
The Lincolnshire Schools Football Association (LSFA) organises and facilitates school football competition within the county of Lincolnshire. Alongside the county's school game organisers (SGO's) and local schools, the LSFA runs county cup competitions for both girls (Under 12s, 14s & 16s) and boys (Under 12s through to Under 16s), rounding up in a finals day. The LSFA also helps deliver the English Schools FA Primary cup (Under 11), where winners of each lincolnshire region compete in a finals day.
The LSFA also runs 2 county girls teams (Under 14s and Under 16s), made up of Lincolnshire's most talented school footballers who represent Lincolnshire play matches against other county sides.
ABOUT US
The association was originally founded in 1951 as the Lincolnshire Grammar Schools’ Football Association by Mr Owen Roberts from Clee Grammar School. The first recorded game by the county took place in the 1951/52 season against Hull University at Scunthorpe Grammar School.

During the late 60’s the association took on the name of the Lincolnshire Schools’ Football Association allowing all schools to be represented not just grammar schools. Throughout our period the county has been national cup winners at both Under 19 and Under 15 level, with numerous players being selected to represent their country at school level.

We have also been fortunate enough to host three English Schools’ matches versus Wales, the most recent being in 2013 at Lincoln City Football Club
