V Shropshire County Schools U16 Girls (Away)

Score 3-3

We travelled to Shropshire on a wet cold windy evening, the squad was in high spirits after the long coach journey there. We started the game well, however we lost our goalkeeper within the first 20 minutes after received a foot on the elbow, off to hospital she went.

Whilst providing first aid treatment there was a goal to us, however both team battled hard, in some really tough weather conditions. The game was end to end, Shropshire converted a penalty to level it up.

It continued end to end and both teams not giving in, it was a very good even match throughout. We went 2-1 down and then levelled it up to 2-2, a mistake on a corner then made it 3-2 to the home team. We managed to get a goal in the last 5 minutes to level the goals up and that’s where is ended.

Some great induvial performances on display and goals from Alisha and DJ.

We go away again on 27th March to Warwickshire

Massive Thank you to Sleafordian Coaches for the fab coach trip.
